Game Rules

Welcome to CrickBrain11! Please review the official game rules before building your fantasy cricket teams and joining contests.

Team Creation Guidelines

Each fantasy team must consist of 11 players selected within a maximum budget of 100 credits. Players must choose their squads carefully to balance star performers with emerging talents.

Team combinations must adhere to the following criteria:

  • 1 to 4 Wicket-Keepers
  • 3 to 6 Batsmen
  • 1 to 4 All-Rounders
  • 3 to 6 Bowlers

You cannot pick more than 7 players from a single real-world cricket team.

Captain and Vice-Captain Selection

Once your 11 players are selected, you must designate one player as the Captain and one as the Vice-Captain.

Scoring bonuses:

  • Captain earns 2× the points scored by them.
  • Vice-Captain earns 1.5× the points scored by them.

Choosing the right leaders can massively impact your final ranking.

Fantasy Points System

Points are awarded based on real-world player performances. Key highlights include:

  • Batting: Runs scored, boundaries, strike rate bonuses.
  • Bowling: Wickets taken, maiden overs, economy rate bonuses.
  • Fielding: Catches, run-outs, and stumpings.
  • Other Bonuses: Player of the Match awards, 50s, 100s, 4-wicket and 5-wicket hauls.

Detailed breakdowns are available on our Scoring Rules page inside the app and website.

Types of Contests

CrickBrain11 offers a wide range of contests suited for all skill levels:

  • Practice Contests: Free-to-play contests for learning without monetary risk.
  • Cash Contests: Paid entry contests with real cash prizes.
  • Private Contests: Create your own contest and invite friends.
  • Mega Contests: Large prize pools with thousands of participants.
  • Head-to-Head: One-on-one matchups for fast, thrilling battles.

Contest sizes, prizes, and formats vary daily based on matches and seasons.

Live Match Updates and Scoring

CrickBrain11 updates fantasy points during live matches at regular intervals. Minor delays may occur depending on real-time data feeds and third-party providers.

Final points are recalculated and validated after the match concludes. Prize distribution happens only after official score confirmation.

Tie Breakers and Winnings

In the event of a tie (two or more teams scoring identical points), the prize pool for that rank will be split equally among all tied users.

Tie-breaking rules apply to mega contests, head-to-head battles, and private leagues alike.

Match and Contest Cancellations

If a real-world match is abandoned, canceled, or declared a no-result without a single ball being bowled, all related contests will be canceled, and entry fees will be refunded.

In partial match completions (e.g., rain interruptions after partial innings), scoring will be based on official results and prizes distributed accordingly.

Fair Play and Ethical Gaming

CrickBrain11 promotes a zero-tolerance policy toward cheating, collusion, or unfair behavior. Any suspicious activities such as team cloning, bonus abuse, or result manipulation will lead to immediate disqualification, forfeiture of winnings, and possible account suspension.

Play fair, stay ethical, and let your cricket knowledge be your true advantage!
